Tooting Run Club is a registered charity supporting mental wellbeing, social connection, and community inclusion through accessible, non-competitive, physical activity.
Our charitable purpose is to improve mental wellbeing, reduce isolation and strengthen community connection, particularly for people who may feel excluded from traditional sports environments.
We use accessible, welcoming physical activity as a tool to support mental health, confidence, and belonging. Our activities are intentionally inclusive and non-competitive, and we place as much emphasis on social connection and peer support as we do on movement.
TRC supports people at all stages of their wellbeing journey - including beginners, those returning to activity after illness or life disruption, and individuals who experience anxiety, isolation, or low confidence. Participation is open to the wider community and not limited by pace, ability, or prior experience.
As a charity, all funds raised are used solely to advance our public‑benefit objectives. Donations help us reduce barriers to participation, support volunteers, create safe and inclusive community spaces, and deliver wellbeing‑focused activities that are free to access.
Our work contributes to healthier, more connected communities by helping people build sustainable habits, supportive relationships, and a sense of belonging - outcomes that are fundamental to both mental and physical wellbeing.
